U.C.C.
Film Forum will begin on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at 9
a.m. in the
Fellowship Lounge. The film forum is an opportunity for folks to indulge
their love of movies and dive deeper into the celluloid story through a
discussion of its characters, messages, and themes (both cultural and
theological). Each Sunday morning from March 30th
– May 11th (we’ll take May 4th off for Confirmation
Sunday) we will discuss a new film. All you have to do to participate
is watch the film and come to the forum.
Below, please
find the list of movies we will be watching, the dates we will be discussing
each film, and a brief description about each movie (from the
Internet Movie Database).
Please note that some of the movies are rated “R” due to the mature content
presented in the film. Teenage youth are encouraged to participate in the
film forums; however, youth under the age of 17 must obtain parent permission
before watching any of the “R” rated titles that will be discussed.
