New Member Shepherding Ministries Team

The New Member Shepherding Team was formed in 2003. The ministry team offers an opportunity by individuals to share in nurturing new members as they enter our church family. Shepherds are matched with new members by the pastor and the coordinator. Some of the responsibilities include making contact at least once a month, inviting new members to participate in activities of the church, and introduce new members to at least 10 members of CGUCC.
 

I am very pleased to announce that the Shepherding Team is active again! We have 7 new members who joined CGUCC.  A letter has been sent to each new member introducing them to their Shepherd. The list includes:

This ministry team has room for many more members interested in becoming Shepherds and helping new people feel welcome in our church family. Now that we are again active my hope is to have more opportunities for Shepherds in the near future.
