Women’s Fellowship is based on the principle of giving back to God in appreciation for His blessings to us.  All women of Cottage Grove United Church of Christ are considered members, whether they participate monthly or not.

We take on tasks like:

   Baptismal candles

   Trash to Treasure Sale

   Presentation of Bibles to Sunday School children

   Christmas tree project for the needy – with our annual sock and mitten tree

   Remodeling of the downstairs kitchen

   Food Shelf drive

Projects have been:

   Christmas Party for the women of the congregation

   International Banquet for women

   Christmas bake sale, the proceeds of which went to purchase a Christmas tree for the sanctuary

Upcoming projects:

   Installation of blinds in the administrative offices

   Institute a table and chair replacement project

Women’s Fellowship raises the funds to support projects through the Country Market and Trash to Treasure Sale, bake sales and plant sales.

Besides furnishing the “woman power” for many events, this group of women is an intergenerational group from diverse backgrounds.  We accept one another as unique creations of God, and are thankful God gave us the opportunity to know and enjoy one another regardless of age.  We agree to disagree and learn from one another, and to have fun.
